Description
This species of pigs aremediumsizewith pigmented skin, very little fur and short robust legs.
They ranged freely in sparse oak forest and as they are constantlymoving around, therefore burning more calories than confined pigs. Thus, they have high intramuscular fat which produces the typicalmarbling, and on top of that, with the traditional feeding based on acorns, it gives the meat its incomparable smoothness, texture and aroma
